Acronis True Image 2018 is the newest version of the company's personal backup software for devices running Windows and Mac operating systems.
The commercial backup software comes with a range of new features, among them a security feature called Active Protection Technology that protects Windows devices against ransomware attacks.

YouTube’s improved Blur Faces tool launches
Ryan Stevens, Software Engineer at YouTube, announced today that YouTube has updated the service's Blur Faces tool to improve its accuracy and ease of use.
YouTube introduced a face blurring tool back in 2012 as a feature to anonymize faces in videos. The feature blurred all faces that the algorithm detected automatically which limited the use of the feature significantly.
Selenium IDE Firefox add-on end of life
The Selenium IDE add-on for Firefox, an add-on used to automate tests in Firefox for web development and other testing scenarios, is not compatible with Firefox 55.
We reviewed Selenium IDE back in 2006 and concluded that it is an excellent tool in a web developer's and tester's arsenal.
Microsoft removes ReFS file system create option from Windows 10 Pro
Microsoft will remove support for creating ReFS (Resilient File System) storage devices for all versions of Windows 10 except for Windows 10 Enterprise and the upcoming Windows 10 Pro for Workstations in the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

Google rolls out autoplaying videos on Android
Google announced on August 18, 2017 that company engineers enabled autoplaying videos in Google Search results in Chrome and the Google application for Android. The feature will roll out to all Google app and Chrome users on Android in the coming weeks.
Microsoft promises speed boost for Edge in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be released soon, and one of the improvements of this minor feature update for Windows 10 sees Microsoft Edge render sites faster thanks to a series of improvements.

OneDrive Uninstaller for Windows 10

iTunes CPU Redux is a free software program for Microsoft Windows devices to tame the resource usage of Apple's iTunes software on Windows.
Apple's iTunes software is quite the heavyweight on Windows systems. The program installs a lot of services on the system, and may run a number of processes at the same time.
Some of these, for syncing data to Apple devices for instance, may not be needed on some systems. If you don't connect Apple devices to the Windows machine, there is no reason for these services to run in the background.
